From 14 September 2025, NBN Co’s Accelerate Great initiative will supercharge eligible fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) and hybrid fibre coaxial (HFC) services across Australia.

At Sonic Internet & Voice, we’re proud to confirm that our customers will automatically receive these speed increases — no plan changes, no extra fees.

What’s changing?

  • NBN 100 → 500/50 Mbps

  • NBN 250 → 750/50 Mbps

  • NBN 1000 → 1000/100 Mbps (upload doubled)

  • New Hyperfast 2000/200 Mbps (FTTP) or 2000/100 Mbps (HFC)

Why it matters

More streaming. Smoother video calls. Faster gaming. Better performance for homes and businesses with multiple devices online.
